- Class 1–5 Teacher: Bachelor’s Degree with B.Ed / Diploma in Elementary Education / 10+2 with D.El.Ed / BLEd or equivalent + CTET/BTET Paper I.
- Class 6–8 Teacher: Graduate with D.El.Ed / B.Ed / B.Sc.Ed / BA.Ed or Post Graduate with B.Ed + CTET/BTET Paper II.
- Class 9–10 Teacher (TGT): Graduate/Post Graduate in subject with B.Ed + STET Paper I.
- Class 9–10 Teacher (Special TGT): Graduate/Post Graduate in subject with B.Ed + STET Paper I.
